What is Open Pedagogy?

There are some excellent resources which address this question.  My favorite piece is by Robin DeRosa and Rajiv Jhangiani, What is Open Pedagogy?, in the Open Pedagogy Notebook.  This collection of responses from the Year of Open by numerous authors shows a wide range of perspectives (keep scrolling down).  I discuss the salient features of open pedagogy, for me, in my article, But You Can’t Do That in a STEM course! , published in Hybrid Pedagogy, an open access journal of learning, teaching and pedagogy.  If you don’t want to take the time to read any of the above, then just skip right to this awesome student piece by Miranda Dean, What an Open Pedagogy Class Taught me About Myself.
